The Harlem Sun logo
The Harlem Sun is a acoustic duo consisting of (jazz) vocalist and pianist Selwyn & guitarist Sven. At the end of 2022, they discovered their musical chemistry and shared love for soul, jazz, and blues. This Haarlem-based duo primarily focuses on providing music for wedding ceremonies and receptions, where attention to detail, atmosphere, and craftsmanship are key.
For them, I created the visual identity. The icon consists of three elements, a guitar pick guard, the sun and the contours of the city of Haarlem. The icon and typography are having a balanced chemistry in style, both being classy and groovy fitting the style of the duo.
